Why didn't someone tell me sooner !

a 500cc 2 stroke in an Aprilia 250 frame, or an 1100 two stroke in a
ZX10 frame !

Is there anyone on the list in Cairns - is it too good to be true, is it
really April 1st ?

"building complete top-end kits for Yamaha two-stroke motors..."

Wow; really building and assembling all the many intricate parts that make
up a 2-stroke's top-end?!!?
Fark!

A big part of motorcycling has always been building machinery to cater
for suicide jockeys. This mob seem to be the industry's answer to Dr
Nietschke, unless they take a holistic engineering approach to their
machines and engineer the frames and suspension to cope with the HP
and torque of the motors.

If all they're doing is chucking ridiculous amounts of HP into frames
which were built for much less power, there's going to be dead bodies
everywhere. But hey, that very idea has been around motorcycling
since the year dot. In fact that's what turns so many on.

Moths and flames come to mind. Buy shares in coffin makers. This
could be the solution to t the economic crisis and global
over-population. They should get a government grant. As long as
those coffins are made from environmentally friendly, renewable
resources, I see no problem.

I dunno if I was reading their stuff right, but it sounded like they do
this trick 500 job on Yammie bottom ends.

Pity I sold the pink RZ. :-(

I wonder if their three cylinder engine would fit in the Triumph Street
Triple?

<snort> Yes, an improved top end (improved/new design and in alloy)
and bottom end, and a bigger bore and etc

Come on Clem, if you even read it you can see there's a significant
improvement on the old RZ motor - not just the rebore to 500cc -
better port construction, better materials, new expansion chamber
design, new power valve design - all of which robbed from GP
development.

If you take a fundamentally decent engine and upgrade it to modern
specs you can get a pretty good outcome
