Ok, the Underground railway is passing this weekend, and I have a spare
engineers vice [1]

It's not pretty, and could do with a splash of blue hammerite, but it's
not overely rusty, and the screw isn't buggered on it.

I've given it the once over and was going to ebay it.

Any takers for the right beer tokens ?

RRP on these is about <fx: checks> bloody hell, £200

http://www.knighton-tools.co.uk/acat...es_Record.html

Cheers,

Paul.

[1] Well, several, but this is made of cast iron and steel.

Mine was from B&Q and cost about £20 and it's blue as well.

Likewise. What's so special about that one that makes it 200 notes?

Tsk, wash your mouth out, that's a woodworking vice.

Just checked, mine is a mambo, err Record no #5.

Cheers

Paul.

I revise my estimate actually. It's a mechanics vice

Heh, but will it last as long as this one ? I've seen these abused all
day long in garages.

I was waiting for one to come up, got fed up and went and bought a
sealey monster. Then this came up for sale the week later :/

Record No23 - £200 new - £40 on ebay

What's the difference? :-)

Quite easily ime, if one's a little zealous in the tightening
department. And when they go, you'd better hope you're not in the
firing line.
