perchance?

I've never had a fire doing that.

Looks like a Daytona 675 and a scoot.

It's a CBR600RR or Fireblade 1000 judging by that heyooge braced
swingarm and underseat silencer. The Daytona 675 swingarm is a little
more subtle.

Neither have I but human stupidity is a wonderful thing.
Perhaps they were 'cleaning motorbike parts' with
an angle grinder?

I used to work in an insurance department and we once took a call with a
hell of a lot of background noise. Our guy asked the woman on the other end
what was going on. "Oh", she says calmly, "that's the fire brigade. I'm in
a phone box." They were still trying to put the fire out and she was
already on the phone asking us to send her a claim form in the post!

Turns out her husband had been decanting petrol with a fag in his mouth.
HTF he wasn't burned to a crisp we'll never work out!

I've never set fire to an angle grinder either.

Many years ago a friend of mine was welding an MG midget in a lockup garage
when it caught fire. The car was between him and the door. Despite being
decidedly non-athletic he found out that that he was able to clear the car
with a single, standing jump. Amazing what can be achieved with a bit of
an incentive.
