Not only should the seller be given a good kicking for creating such a
monstrosity, but to then have the temerity to describe it as
"immaculate"

Someone may believe that the lack of dirt on the paint qualifies use of
that word.

Yuk. Why didn't he paint it in fluorescent "day-glo" yellow. Then the
choice of colour would at least have served a purpose, to some potential
buyers.

At least there is some colour coordination with the license plate.

oow nasty! You can't beat black with gold lines and lettering - various
attempts to deviate from this have never looked as good - but then I was
first registered in 1943 and my views may no longer hold. In my day
bikes were real bikes with character - they started if they were in the
mood - and left a lasting impression - a permanent oil stain and a hefty
right leg.

No one in his right mind would choose a Velocette as a getaway vehicle )

Looks pretty clean to me. What exactly is not immaculate about it?

Saw a lot worse with the original Zs back in the '70s, when they were,
at least for a while, the 'custom'[1] bike of choice

[1] Before the word got hijacked to mean 'Harley-based monstrosity'.

When I read the first few lines of the 'Item Specifics' box, I
genuinely read the line 'Condition: Used' as 'Condition:
Ugly'.

Well, if someone runs you over when you're riding that, "Sorry mate I
*did* see you" would be a perfectly reasonable excuse.

Evidently I'm not in my right mind - both my (pre-war) MSS Velos started
first poke, though my Clubman's Venom either started first time, or you
could forget it for the rest of the day.
