The wife and I both noticed this a few times. For reasons I can't
fathom I saw several of the front runners apparently (I am inherently
unreliable) take their left foot right off the footpeg when about to
enter a RH corner.

I thought Twin Ring Motegi was a race track, until I discovered
Smirnoff.

Whenever I've seen that it means that the rider thinks he is about to
crash. That was something I would never ever do at the race circuit.
I'm surprised that the stewards haven't passed a comment about it
along the lines of not being in total control of the vehicle.

You appear happy to flaunt your complete ignorance on a public forum.
Well done.
