Very very impressed with this seppo!!

Wonder if he is interested in a rider swap with Hayden?

Would be getting offers from everywhere, good on him, looks like a
class rider from USA finally!

Gota be Ben making the difference, as the others have a similar Yammie
and dont get anywhere near him.Pole record speaks volumes!

Good effort by Max in race 1, thought he was going to have a go but
ran out of fuel, got a worthy 2nd anyway.Hope it was a genuine
improvement and he can at least win 1 by years end.

As for Haga, would be shitting himself now, frankly does NOT deserve
to win it this year, Ben does [hurts to say that] and i think Ben will
win it.

BMW and NOWHERE "GERMan engineering" lol

Cheers

WSB is quite the championship to watch right now.

Awesome riders, and the bikes are closer together than occasional
swings in fortunes make the casual observer assume. Seems to have to
do with setup and circuit and bringing it on a certain day.

Spies certainly is an amazing talent. His ability to deliver at this
level in his first year speaks for his class. Not sure how much better
than Hayden he'd do on a Ducati though, that bike certainly seems to
have issues - it's either unbeatable (not as often as it used to) in
Stoner's hands, or it'll drive even him into physical and mental
exhaustion when it is not. I think Spies is better off where he is
right now. And I would not exclude the possibility that, given the
cost containment measures that MotoGP is forced to go through, perhaps
WSB will emerge as the premier motorcycling series over the next few
years.

I am staying on top of this series, and I will be rooting for the
newcomer.

Could well be!

With the only brand "haonda 600cc cup" taking over from the multi
brand 250's, MotoGP is going backwards in that class. This is THE most
stupid thing they have ever done, i hope it sinks.

We want to see manufacturers fighting it out, not just riders.

Where from here for Aprilia/Gilera/Ktm?

MotoGP is still great and Vale is. well, a legend, but the usual
suspects on his tail!

Cheers

I agree - MotoGP's problem is that it has had to reinvent a tradition
and try to carefully retreat into areas that are already claimed. As
things consolidate and become more difficult to differentiate, there
will be no more room for *both* MotoGP and WSB - especially as MotoGP
tries to awkwardly steal the support classes that WSB invented long
ago. It will be interesting.

Amen - why is it Aprilia or BMW are in WSB and not MotoGP? Hmmmmm....

Clearly they go to WSB because it is the better series for them - and
they are biding their time to see if they ought to move to MotoGP
eventually...

It is not quite the Ago or Roberts or Doohan era, but hey, there
weren't options back then. MotoGP better watch out. The fan turnout
in Spain is pretty much the same for MotoGP as it is for WSB, and
local sponsors (arguably the most influential despite the fact the US
market is paradoxically much bigger) are taking note.

"deserve" has NOTHING to do with professional sport.
Ben is the Real Deal. Needs to stop DNF'ing
