Does anyone know of a good bike electrician that doesn't charge like a
wounded bull in the Brisbane area? Think I need to get the alternator
rewound.
Cheers in advance

Your average sprky isn't equipped to do that.

these days I believe Small Coil rewinds in Vic (03) 52721659? are the
go, and I also have George Van Den Heuvel, Motorcycle Rewinds
PO Box 742, Mittagong NSW 2575 Phone (02) 4889 5005
as a possibility.

There used to be a bloke down Park Ridge/Browns Plains way who did rewinds.
He was quite cheap (considering).
Anyone? (Look up "stator" in the phone-book)
