Police have arrested an alleged Comanchero bikie over the theft of 12 new cars
from a holding yard in western Sydney three months ago.

The 27-year-old man was allegedly among 13 men who broke into the car yard in
Liverpool at 6am on Valentine's Day this year.

The group allegedly bashed the three workers present, locking one of them in the
boot of a car and the other two in a separate vehicle.

Police allege the men then stole a bunch of keys from the office before driving
off with a dozen new cars, worth $500,000 in total, including Volkswagens,
Subarus, Holdens and Mitsubishis.

The 27-year-old turned himself in at Liverpool police station just before 6pm
yesterday.

He was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, participating in
a criminal group, dealing with the proceeds of crime and other related offences.

He was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today.

Police said the man was the third arrest in relation to the crime, after police
nabbed another alleged Comanchero member in March, as well as a 22-year-old
woman in April.

All but two of the 12 stolen cars have been recovered. Detectives from strike
force Eastbourne are still looking for a white Mazda 3 and a green Holden
Commodore SV6.

Anyone with information about the incident or who has information about the
location of the two outstanding vehicles is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on
1800 333 000.

Seems to be bikie did it (rather than the butler??) for the mainstream media,
flavour of the month perhaps. Seems to be disproven that bikies were involved in
a murder case in our area, but I guess it sounded good at the time and one
wonders if bikie bashing was supporting a political agenda...

Leb or Arab terrorist swine causing influenza A h1 n1, maybe next month :-)
