Ebay: 280461819792 - small petrol pipe clips

No room against the air filter pipe to use conventional jubilee or any
type of screw clip. Thought I had a couple laying around as RDs use
these but I can't find them and I don't fancy paying $4 each from the
US. Small bike shops might stock them but by the time I've driven round
a couple I might as well have just bought from ebay.

Pikey answer:
Use some iron gardening wire and twist it tight with a pair of pliers.
Chop off excess, job done.

Neither of my local Halfrauds stock anything but the screw type.

Ask a good old-fashioned motor accessories shop?

Or a garage?

A lawn mower spares/repair shop will have them. Or pop along to your local
car breakers.

Cable tie, pulled tight (using pliers if needed) to ensure it compresses the
pipe sufficiently.

Old fords have a compressible spring type that are very thin and are
installed with pliers.

Have a shufty around a scrappers, i'm specifically thinking of the air
filter vacuum and vent piping on Mark3 Escorts here, if there are any
of those still in existence. [1]

Paul.

[1] Note, however, I saw a Fiesta popular "x" reg (1981) pottering up
the A14 east today.

It looks like 3.95 for one to me and even if it wasn't no size is
quoted.

>260537991534 (99p for 5)

Saw those, they don't seem to make them small enough.

Tempting, but the CB72/77 actually has a separate fuel pipe for each
carb so would need two filters, and there's one built into the tap
anyway. Definitely better vfm than the US option though, ta.
