Has anybody any experience of DHL and/or Parcels2Go?

I have to choose one for the transport of a very small lathe.

Used both with no problems for UK, Europe and Hong Kong

I've used Parcel2Go and been happy. You could also try
www.parcelmonkey.com

Ta. Parcels2Go is cheaper than DCL for this particular parcel.

Thanks, filed.

(sender's offered DHL or Parcels2Go, but I think I've heard Parcelmonkey
mentioned favourably before, somewhere.

Ta. Already plumped for Parcels2Go, as no-one's slagged it off, it's
cheaper than DHL, and DHL does the carrying anyway.

(I brought a similar article home on the bus a couple of weeks ago - in
a carrier bag. Super Adept, FYI.)

Now looking for a minute 3-jawed chuck, ditto 4-jaw independent, and any
Morse-taper tools, size 0.

Rocking-horse ****, those MT0 tools. Given a chuck I might have to make
some.

DHL managed to drop test the VFD I bought off Ebay (for *my* lathe, funny
how small a world etc. etc.!), bloke held onto it while he got the sig',
then scarpered while I was thinking "It shouldn't rattle like this, should
it?... 'Ere, YOU!" - but he'd gone by then

The seller tried to get some compensation out of 'em, but that involved
sending it to 'em (at his expense) and them inspecting it (minimum 2 week
turnaround) - so he just gave me a discount and I glued it back together,
fitted a new LCD.

We was not impressed. Make sure you open it and check before you sign

I had a look, smallest MT tooling I've got is 2MT, and that's only a ropey
drill chuck and a couple of dead centres. Mind you, I could probably spin
the Super Adept in my 4-jaw...
