Has been cancelled, which is a shame.

""It is with deep regret that due to circumstances beyond the control
of British Motorcycle Riders Club (Oxford) we are cancelling this
years bike night. This is primarily driven by the fact that the size
of event has now outstripped the clubs resources to manage it,
particularly in the light of the road safety concerns raised by WODC
which cannot be ignored.

We realise that this is fairly late but we have been working hard to
try and address the issues raised but ultimately it has not proved
possible to find solutions.

We would like to thank you for your support in previous years as
without it the event would not have grown to be the success it has.

Once again and on behalf of the club please accept our apologies."

Chris Hope
Secretary BMRCO"

Another win for the 'think of the children' killjoys. Playing the road
safety card for Cassington is just pathetic.

Maybe it's just me but once it becomes a mass event I've no further interest

Cassington's more like an open air bike show.

Really, what's to organize? People show up, find a place to park, and
wander around. It may be a traffic jam, but is it any worse than rush
hour in the city?

If you've never been, it does get quite busy.

But that's no reason to cancel it.
