Did Rossi ever pass Pedrosa at Jerez?

At one point SpeedTV showed a *replay* that I thought was Rossi
passing Pedrosa but I don't remember seeing Pedrosa go back past
Rossi.

Maybe I was actually seeing Lorenzo passing somebody else?

Team colors often confuse me when it comes to who's doing what to
whom...

That must have been Lorenzo.

You can get a pretty cheap 24-hour video pass at motogp.com in between
race weekends and watch all the races you can.

The moto2 was great. While a motogp race with several good passes is a
classic, they happened every lap in the Jerez moto2 race.

Yeah that was a sweet race, including several multibike passes.

It was funny watching Elias do a Fabien Foret, meerkating out of his
seat to see what was happening behind him and waving to Kenny Noyes to
sit on his tail before screwing up the next corner. But in retrospect,
it was more like "stick with me, I'm going all the way".

I'm pretty much convinced that all the crashes before the red flag were
people falling off in sympathy. There didn't seem to be any oil on the
road until the first crash, and even then it was off the racing line.
Hilarious to watch them all.

BTW. No spoilers in titles, please.

It's coming out now that it was Tomizawa's oil that skittled them and it
was a smashed alternator cover that released it all. Because there were
no case protectors on the spec engines. Which is just ridiculous.

Betcha there are case protectors on the bikes before the next round.

It reminded me of the WSS race at Assen a couple of years back. Edge of
the seat stuff.
