Direct access on driving licence

How is the fact that you've done direct access (or the inverse)
marked on a driving licence? Just wondering for the purposes
of hiring a bike.

It isn't , but if you haven't done DA you will have a little note on there
to indicate that you are stuck to 25kw or less for 2 years

Thought that might be the case, but couldn't find an appropriate code
for it here:
http://www.dvla.gov.uk/drivers/information_codes.htm (maybe 79).

Quite possibly.
I don't have my licence to hand for the exact wording but it is quite clear
that it was a non-DAS variety

Might be 121, but motorcyclists are definitely 115...

Quite a lot of 'third world' countries you just buy a licence. No test.
