Buyer Beware! I shopped for and bought some motorcycle accessories
online and stupidly did not check discussion boards first. I will
never make that mistake again.

I purchased five items from Motorcycle Accessory Warehoues (MAW), also
doing business as American Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse (AMAW) and
Hi-Per Sports. Rpeating what I have subsequently found on many
discussion boards, they are very slow to ship, charge excessive fees,
are completely unresponsive, and offensive and rude to boot! Under no
conditions will I ever buy from them again. Even though their prices
are 5% - 10% cheaper up front, it is not worth the additional costs
for covering their mistakes (that they charge you) and the excessive
frustation in dealing with them. I urge you all to patronize other,
more reputable dealers such as Dennis Kirk, Chapparral, Parts411,
Motorcycle USA Superstore, etc.

Ride fast, ride safe.

The only problem I ever had with MAW was that even though
their prices are cheaper, their S&H more than makes up the
difference. I have had good luck with Chapparral, but Dennis
Kirk is the most expensive place I have ever shopped.
Everything is list price (or at least it used to be when I would
even consider them). I have never been ripped off by MAW,
but customer service is definitely not their first priority.
