Where back baby!!

Troy B is the only one to go under 2 min. mark... ON RACE TYRES!! [Not
slicks]

Duke have NO weight advantage, NO engine size advantage, LESS BHP, LESS
[much] racing budget. What excuse are they going to find now?

Just pure Italian Engineering, beating the big budget boys again and
again

Shove that up ya arse [AGAIN] HRC

Looking for a win and 2nd both races, NOTHING less

Hey twit. Race tyres can be either slicks for the dry or grooved tyres, called wets, for a wet track (the latter being the case for
Bayliss grabbing pole).

No, in fact 3 main types of tyres exist

Qualifying tyres [short life super soft]
Race tyre dry
Race tyre wet

Most if not all used the qualifying tyre

Bayliss used a race tyre not a qualifying tyre during SuperPole, Ducati
found a edge:

www.ducati.com

"Australian former world champion Bayliss, who returned to Superbikes
this year after three seasons in MotoGP, was the only rider to dip
under the two minute mark as he powered his 999 to a time of 1m59.696s
to take the first pole of the year, while his Italian team-mate Lanzi
more than made up for yesterday's qualifying session by grabbing the
second place grid slot, three-tenths behind Bayliss.

***********Both riders took the unusual step of running race tyres in
the one-lap Superpole dash, because Ducati Corse engineers had
correctly judged that the performance of the Pirelli race tyre on the
999 was better than the qualifying tyre over the entire
lap.***********"

SBK used to have the live timing on their website during the qualifiying
and races but that doesn't seem to be offered this year.. unless there's
some user pays section I didn't look into.
