What, no outrage at the Ducati weight break? I'm outraged by the lack
of outrage...

I'm outraged at *your* outrage. Nyah, nyah, nyah.

3 kilos? BFD. Betcha they were carrying parts that weighed
more than they absolutely had to to make the 168 limit.
Won't change anything much.

Get Haga's head and bike working right, that'll be a bigger
deal.

Go fast. Take chances.

Please God let Haga get it this year; the tension has lasted too long.

I think Haga has lost the plot completely. He's telling journalists that
he's scared of crashing. In which case he should stop, *right now*.

It'll be very sad to see him retire like this. But I also don't want to
see him circulating in 16th just to make up the numbers.

As for the weight break, I don't think it will make a damn bit of
difference. They might as well make the weights the same. The thing that
might change the game is relaxing Ducati's intake restriction, but I'm
not convinced that's necessary yet despite the difference in Monza top
speeds. Arguably, the intake restriction only affects full throttle at
max revs and over a season there are very few places where that's
actually used.

I've read that none of the bikes are bumping the minimum anyway, so
the weight break may be effectively nothing unless Ducati spend $$$ on
some unobtanium parts.

More Crap than News, of course. A report from Michael Guy and splashed
all over the back page.

It makes a kind of sense. For years he was unbreakable and just used to
bounce. Last year's crash was really nasty and so was Xaus punting him
off at turn one at Philip Island this year.

Indeed. I've seen this mentioned elsewhere but no answers.

Is this true any more?
