Ed Milliband must be over the moon that some deluded fool in a silly hat
can get more column inches than he can dream about when it comes to dissing
the coalition government

In other news, the biggest threat to the Tory Party remains ... the Tory
Party, allegedly.

Cameron should be delighted the old fool has meddled in matters well beyond
his ken. But here is an idea, the CoE gives up the larger portion of it's
vast wealth towards projects for poorer people in the UK.

Questioned, not charged. Hmmm.

I'll add this gem:

You may not like the Conservative party (for history), particularly as they
are not a single house ATM, and I'm certainly no Tory but if one had to vote
on the three (on pain of death) of the other two, well <shakes head>

All of which goes to show the parlous state of uk politics. It's just
bloody depressing - an incompetent, hopeless government and a clueless
directionless opposition.

I don't agree with the first point. It's coalition. Look at the history of
how it works in Europe.

Errrr wrong.

Firstly, and clearly you don't seem to like the man, he is however well
educated.

Secondly that "wealth" would only get spent once. It's tied-up capital
that gains interest/dividends that are used. So you'd throw it all away
on a one-off spending spree and ruin the largest non-governmental social
services organisation in the UK. Oh hang on, that's what HMG have been
doing over the years, selling the family silver.

He believes in fairies, ergo he is a fool, and his age is beyond
doubt.

He is a bit of a fool, certainly isn't doing much for the global Anglican
congregation

+1

I'd even excuse some of their confusion on the basis that policies had to be
adapted/concieved in light of coalition.

I'm fed up answering idiots who roll out the line "coalition politics is a
disaster" with "if only we could be a disaster like, maybe, Germany"

Germain Greer hit a very positive note on QT last night. Possibly the first
time I've liked her! (1) She obviously despised Bliar and Brown.

What, listening to an argument, taking it on board, and changing their
minds you mean?

I've never seen what's so bad about that, TBH.
