The scoot was due an oil change. That was the easy bit.

The Black 400 four failed its MOT last week due to a bent rim, so off
it went to the very nice wheel man. Saturday comes around and I get the
dreaded call - the rim cracked when he tried to straighten it. Grrrrrr.

While the bike is up on the stand I pulled the back wheel to get rid of
the ugly stainless trim on the sprocket .... hmmmm.... looks like a new
chain and sprockets might be a good idea.

David Silver wins again, might as well get a lift handle and brake pads.
This is going to cost.

And here's me with a complete rear wheel assembly, including spindly,
brake plate, chain adjusters, tyre and new sprocket, all running on
eBay right now ;-))

Heh.
"Well, I got a friend who's a man
What man?
The man who keeps me from the lovely
He gives me what I need
What you need? What you got?
I need it all so badly

CHORUS
Oh, anything I want he gives it to me
Anything I want he gives it, but not for free
It's hateful
And it's paid for and I'm so grateful to be nowhere"

Nowt wrong with the back wheel, its the front that was bent. The rim and
spokes are not very expensive.
