Saw this press release...
http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/152...nds_fair_racin
g.html

Anyone know what he's referring to with "But worse yet is what has just
happened when the lack of fair play extends beyond competition, with
vulgar and offensive remarks towards the opponents."

I can think of a number of desperate / crazy moves recently but no vulgar
remarks.

Heh. Presumably this is Hayden's and Edwards comments in the press and
on YouTube about DeAngelis. And the ****-storm about Iannone and
Espagaro in the Spanish press.

But mostly it's clearly about riders drinking too much of the sponsor's
energy drink and entering into an "Agnostic Trance" while racing.

Do you think he can get Edwards to stop sticking his tongue out on TV?
Because that's more offensive than anything anyone has said.

It is the Iannone thing ("I didn't touch him because he revolts me")
and now Simoncelli going on about the facts that he could never shake
hands with Barbera and Bautista.

The big question is "so what?" - as long as it doesn't lead to a
really dangerous incident on the track they can feel whatever.

That's what I was thinking it was about.

Thoroughly deserved I think :-)

I've not read El País for a few weeks, so I've clearly been missing out.

It doesn't offend me, I just find it, well, kind of childish I suppose.

Iannone's move on Espargaro was pretty crazy, but I think Simoncelli is
dangerous. His previous battles with Barberá and Bautista could have seen
them seriously injured.
