I've always liked the Yamaha red and white colour schemes. They
should do that scheme on an R1.

Alas, I've just tied most of my cash up in a tax-free five-year RPI+0.5%
thingy.

At current levels of inflation that works out equivalent to a 9% savings
account for higher rate taxpayers. Daft not to, really. And there's no
lock-in, bailing out early just affects the return.

Must look into that. I've got some money sat in a savings account
barely getting 3% before tax at the moment.

Ditto, and that's in a recently opened account too - something for
overspill after I topped up the ISA.

Due an interesting pay packet (plus review) at the end of the month so
will wait for that. Was going to splurge but done enough of that in the
last 12 months really.
