By **** me it was cold & somehow i managed to lose my ****ing wallet, for
****s sake.

ggrrrrr

The R1 is bloody lovely, especially when you put air in the tyres!

Front was 20, rear was 23, no wonder it felt a bit odd.

Same here, a brief blat over to see my lad.
Over generous lubing of the chain made left handers a bit dicey :-(

I use PJ non fling lube, it's good stuff.

For an 11 year old bike, this is easily as good as anything i have ridden.

It doesnt feel really fast, but i kept looking at the speedo & thinking
'**** me' Mind you, i didn't go above 30% throttle anyway, wanting to
get used to it before ragging the thing blind.

I thought i had buggered the lights with my fitting of the heated grips,
but i had knocked the switch over to sidelights Not used to
swithchable lights.

Might invest in a Yoshi can, or a Akro......

I ventured out, too.

As did every fecking Sunday driver in South Wales, it seems.

And every crock-rocket jockey who hasn't ridden since last summer.

It was cold. Very cold. Still some snow on the verges, but it was good
to get out for a proper ride, rather than just blatting around locally.

NP, I've been too busy to have a look TBH. I'm off to the local RR
dealer next week.
