I had forgotten it was on!

I've lost track a bit, cos of the sore back, but when I saw the reminder in
the paper I thought, "bloody beauty, just up the road, not far to get home
tomorrow if sleeping on the ground stirs the back up, got the beaut TENS
unit to help the back pain, time to kiss the missus, grab the gear, get to
the rally well before dark, get ****ed, tell lies, insult people
deliberately and accidentally, get all wobbly and have a nev before
bedtime......."

Then I couldn't find my camping stuff. Then the little light-bulb appeared
over my head. A certain person whose initials are smack has still got my
tent, my thermarest, my sleeping bag, and dog knows what else. And he's at
work.

Sigh.

Went anyway, stayed sober,
then turned around and rode home.
Sigh.
