Just had a talk with Mark McGuire from the Yarra Ranges Shire.
Here are some more details:
There are 4 instructors for a max. of 30 riders.
Plus various volunteers to play leader and tail-end Charly
(while the instructors are running back/forth to do their evaluations).
The groups will be split up according to riding experience into 3 groups:
up to 5 years experience, then 5-15 years and the 15 year +.
Total cost is $30 plus GST= $33
Ride-dates aren't set yet, the shire is also in the process of sorting out
liability-issues.
ALL rides will be on a Saturday.
Rides will go for 4-5 hrs. approx.
Rides start at Warburton, then Reefton/Marysville/Black Spur, finishing in
Healesville.
The 2 planned Learners-only rides will start in Lilydale, then Woori
Yallock, across to
Healesville, Myers Creek Rd, finishing in Healesville again.
Enrolments are via email which I'll post once I've got it.
