Subject: HR 45 GUN RIGHTS BILL
For the gun owners, this is reason to be alarmed. If your concerned, call your elected officials. Does not matter what your party affiliation may be. Here it comes..... Scary! Please send this to everybody on your list... Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009. We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program. Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar. To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009 . You will get all the information. Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless: .It is registered- Pay attention to this one! .You are fingerprinted .You supply a current Driver's License .You supply your Social Security # .You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing .Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail. .There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison. If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family - pass this along. Peter Boyles is on this and having guests. Listen to him on KHOW 630 a.m. in the morning. He suggests the best w ay to fight this is to tell all your friends about it and "spring into action". Also he suggests we all join a pro-gun group like the Colorado Rifle Association, hunting associations, gun clubs and especially the NRA. This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it. This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not. If you take my gun, only the criminal will have one to use against me. HR 45 only makes me/us less safe. http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.45: http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h45/show http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-45 Please... Copy and send this out to EVERYONE in the USA . |

Copy and send this out to > EVERYONE in the USA . Here is a quote: <quote> Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 - Amends the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act to prohibit a person from possessing a firearm unless that person has been issued a firearm license under this Act or a state system certified under this Act and such license has not been invalidated or revoked. Prescribes license application, issuance, and renewal requirements. </quote> Note that word, "firearm". That can mean a handgun, your hunting rifle, shotgun and possibly even that little .22 pellet gun in your closet. The last bastions of liberty slowly slipping away... Skooter understands all this, so I am not directing this at him but at everyone. You might think me a right-wing gun nut but I'm not. I am simply a person who loves the U.S., yet I see what is happening and it's more than just scary. The New World Order that some people have been clambering for may well be the end of us all. Remember this old saying (Skooter touched on it), "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns." Replace "outlaws" with "government" and the picture becomes clear. Who has been in the military and had to agree, that if he/she was ordered to take up arms against civilians, would do so without question? They call it Martial Law but... When the people fear their government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty." -Thomas Jefferson That was true, once upon a time. When I was young and naive, I heard this, "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you!" Inaugural Address, President John F. Kennedy. Well, I am no longer young and naive. The government needs to leave us alone, needs to stop making people "dependent" on the government teat. Whatever happened to the citizens who helped make this nation great? Those who worked hard, spoke out, fought... They are all gone? Does the government fear us to the point that we must be disarmed? What will be next? Think about it. There is a shadow behind the curtain, folks... and it isn't the Wizard of Oz. Alright, I'm outta here. Shiny side up and keep your powder dry! |

Sunny, I totally understand this also along with many others in here. The problem is, there are too many stupid people that don't, and want to drink the cool aid and believe large government is their friend and protector. I am a life member of the NRA and we make 2 steps forward in protecting 2nd Amendment rights while the totally funded government makes 4 to try and take them away. It is never ending For those that do not understand history, they cannot comprehend the present. I have asked many for years what makes them believe that the evil that spawned Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong the Khmer Rouge and so many others, does not exist in America? It just can't I have been told. People just don't understand the power of desired power and money. If our country fails financially, or is attacked, most would get on their knees and lick boot and give up every right to another Hitler for promised security. So many are licking boot now while giving up their grandchildren's financial future. As it goes......... I most likely will be dead before my beloved country totally fails in its founding principles, and I wont have to see all of it. But it is coming. As surely as the day, it is coming. You cannot compete against the hoards of stupid that have been bred in our country and believe the propaganda that people who believe in personal freedom are the enemy. As soon as my broken foot that is not really broken, but probably is and acts like it is, but if it isn't it should be, I intend to do some riding. Everyday nice weather is coming fast. Save your cash and rest well. Jerry |
