Going back 6-8 weeks, I ran out of petrol and thereafter it wouldn't
start. Spent a lot of time using a lot of ideas from this group to no
avail.

So this is just to let all you guys that have helped with advice, know
what the final problem was. I know I'm going to get some stick for this
admission, but it might give some of you a laugh and maybe help someone
else in the future.

First problem - I'm married!

Second problem - I asked my wife to drive out to me with a can of fuel.

Third problem - She can't tell the difference between the colours black
and green.

Fourth problem - I can't smell the difference between petrol and
diesel.

Need I say more!!!

Reminds me of Neil Peart's "Ghost Rider" episode with an inexperienced
pump jockey in Canada who'd just filled his tank. The kid then says,
"Your bike runs on diesel?"

Believe it or not this kind of story boosts my confidence.
I can see my way forward now.
One mans misfortune another mans gain
