Hi all

My wife asked me today what did I want for fathers day. I said 'nothing as
usual' but then thought I have been bending her ear about new wet weather
gear, so suggested that. She said OK!
Went to the local Honda place and looked at the RJ one piece sets. Started
talking to the bloke about how my leather jacket is a bit worn ( bought 1976
and been down the road a couple of times) and how I had been thinking of
replacing it with a waterproof armoured jacket but couldn't really afford
to. Showed me a RJ jacket and a dririder extreme. Tried them on.
Went back out to the car and asked my wife. She said words to the effect
of 'Your'e a good husband and deserve to have them.'
After I came round I rushed back in and bought the extreme and a pair of RJ
plastic pants before she could come to her senses.
She say's they're my last birthday, fathers day and next christmas present.
But as I was only expecting a card I'm way ahead.

showroom.

We'll need to win lotto for her to be that generous.

I've always had nylon lightweight wet weather gear, when I get home wet I
leave them dripping on the verandah overnight. I assume that the outer
cordura material on these gets soaking wet, what do people do? hang them
over the bath to drip? Would spraying them with silicone spray be a good
thing?

Hamish scored 2 fathers days this year. We flew into Chicago on a holiday in
June...just happened to be father's day in the US. Now he gets one this
weekend too!

Of course, he's getting for this one what he got for the last one (a broken
night's sleep and grumpy wife the next morning, not an international flight
and overnight stay in a youth hostel).

K - missed out on mother's day

Yep; just finding someone you don't like and giving them a house would be so much simpler......
