Lovely. I spotted one of those at the Rye Classic show last year - it was
slightly different insofar as it had a space age plastic thingy shrouding
the speedo and rev counter.

Bloo, it was and very shiny.

ISTR that was how the original RE5 was attired. That's what it had when
Bike magazine tested it anwyay back in 197?. Could these be replacement
clocks on this bike or did Suzuki change the design?

Yes, Suzuki abandoned the toilet-roll clock housing and just stuck
GT750 Kettle clocks on later bikes. This one's a US import, too.
