If memory serves me correctly, among gays practicing an "alternative"
lifestyle, having something (usually a handkerchief, but gloves should
suffice) dangling out of your back pocket means you're looking to connect -
if it's dangling out of your left pocket it means you're submissive, and if
it's dangling out of your right it means you're dominant.
