No ride for me either!
I watched the US Open, and one of my 4 daughters, the oldest (who can
actually cook).. ‘cooked’ an old fashoned country dinner (lunchtime)
for me and her husband. ( we eat Dinner and supper in Bowie county, <g>)
--Meatoaf,red beans, whiped potatos,cornbread, Mac-cheese,fried squash &
okra, fresh sliced onion/tomatoe/cayene peppers....and to top it off...
Hunni baked two choc-pies...
I do believe I had as good a day as any father I know around thee
pars...how lucky can an old feller be this day and age.. mighty lucky, I
be..

I've seen your dogs. Well past harassment, if you ask me. LOL

A Brit? Hehe... Your "slip" is showing!

Well, my grill IS a dandy. I even have one that is a half n' half.
It sure cuts down on cook time.

They are too YOUNG to appreaciate a good beer, much less that dreck
sold by busch or miller. ;^) I'll drink Lone Star before I'd drink the
other two. ewwwwww. For that matter the average american could tell
good beer from armidillo ****. (soundss like the name of a beer) Had a
nice Lambec last night. Even have really nice porter local (only 150mi
away) called Pigs Ass Porter. It's not to shabby.

Oh and yes kids I'll be throwing a huge hunka lamb on the grill for
the guests. Might even make some haggis!

Anything like Moose Drool? The name makes me shiver.

EE-YEW! Yukamungus on the haggis! You don't think they would come
all the way to the other side of the pond, just to eat the stuff they
get in the Isles? Fix some real 'Merkin' food, BBQ brisket or spare
ribs! You can get beef and pork up there in the woolly wild, can't
ya? If not, Wapiti might work.

No Moose Drool is a brown ale...so you serve it at temp of 55-65F.
Pigs Ass Porter is just that a porter, not to bad I've had better
though. ;^)
