Here we go again; after all who hasn't been to the Hill Country. This time (May 19,20, and 21) we took some different roads, and looked at things through the other eye. We did not ride any of the 3 sisters, nor eat BBQ. Not a peg was scraped.

Of note:
1. Near perfect weather the entire 969 miles ride
2. Need rain in that area. Lake Buchanan is probably 15ft low, Lake Travis is very low. Lots of dry creeks
3. Bunches of money in the Hill Country, i.e., all the hilltop homes continuing to be built
4. Oak wilt is devastating, and killing many a old majestic Live Oak
5. This is the best year ever for the Black-eyed Susan flower
6. The cows on LBJ Ranch are in Hereford Heaven
7. The Buzzards in the Hill Country are equally blessed, as roadkill abounds

Some of those same old pictures are here

There will now be a question and answer session

Next time you're in the area, ride down the park road to Pedernales
Falls. Watch for deer.
