Soon as I can manage it. I dare say the auto trike will be first 'cos I
don't need the left leg to ride that one. I have no "up & down" movement in
the left foot, so bikes with a left foot shift may prove a tad tricky - so
the MZ and the Drifter may be laid up for a while. Luckily my other bikes
are right foot shift.

The bike came out of it far better than I did. Petrol tank, left footrest &
brake lever bent, headlight broken & seat ripped. The car missed the front
wheel and hit me head on - my knee being the first point of contact. Almost
pushed my leg out of my arse, as they say.

My BSA B31, known as the "30-bobber". This was the bike that smokes when
left on the side stand.

More than salvageable - it suffered very little damage compared to me.

Had it have been the B33 that I spent three years building, then I would
have been even more ****ed off, if that's possible.

Well, yeah. But never let the truth stand in the way, and all that.

Just read it wasn't the BSA you'd spent an age on. Still, at least the
bike's just about OK and you'll mend.

That explains the off then.
BSA brakes claim another victim who forget to give them a written
warning of intent to stop.

Welcome back. I hope the bastard who hit you was insured and that you get a
shedload of compensation money.
