Rossi seems out of it with the shoulder hurting... and the Ducatis
seem very strong, with Stoner predictably fastest (will he toss it yet
again come race day?) and... Hayden third for now! Lorenzo in the mix,
Pedrosa looking better on familiar ground.

Spies not looking quite as strong yet, but I have a feeling he'll get
closer and closer to Edwards as the weekend progresses. Melandri
looking somewhat better for now, Simoncelli looking abysmal...

The track looks smoother. And the bikes look twitchy and on the verge of
being out of control. The 2nd last turn is always scary but in previous
years they've been getting a big twitch on as they hit the bump half way
through. Conversely, Rossi was missing apexes, Dani was having trouble
on the brakes. The only one who looked really smooth was Lorenzo.

Stoner loses the front again, Lorenzo wins from Dovi. Rossi is fifth.
Spies 10th with Edwards in 11th.

Live on Speed - 8:00 Eastern Daylight.

My about to be 13 year old is already moaning
about being forced to get up early on a Sunday.

Go fast. Take chances.

I didn't catch that it was on live until I sat down to watch it last
night at 10:00. Is it going to be live going forward, or did Speed
have a conflict with their latest NASCAR BBQ grill racing reality
show?

Is Speed going to broadcast live from this point in the season forward.

Ahh, so "going forward" just means "from this point onwards". You're the
first person that's used the expression who could explain what it means.

It sounds ridiculous though, so I won't be using it. :-)

It could be partially work place driven. I hear a lot of "going
forward" comments associated with various problems and solutions on
our projects, so I'm inclined to use the phrase myself. Engineers...
What're you going to do?

If people want a sense of movement and dynamism, they should ride
motorbikes.

ps. Got Neil Spalding's MotoGp Technology for my birthday. Highly
recommended. Who knew going fast was all so complicated?
