A week-day ride to Wollombi for lunch has been mooted.

The first week in August has been suggested. That would be Aug 1
through to Aug 5.

Time to get a bit of an idea who might be lunching and which options
and dates might suit them:

Option 1: Meet for lunch at Wollombi.

Option 2: Meet at McGraths Hill and group ride to Wollombi for lunch.
Please indicate Putty or Wiseman's preference.

Option 3: Blue Mountains riders meet at Hazelbrook shops parking lot
and ride to McGraths Hill (if there are any Spartans there), and then
on to Wollombi. Please indicate Putty or Wiseman's rout preference.

This should give you enough time to plan your sickies.

My preference is Option 3, any day of that week, conditional upon the
weather forcast predicting no rain en route and winds being
sub-cyclonic.

I'll be wearing my pink velour jumpsuit.

I reserve the right be be bullshitting about at least one item in this
message.

I am a definite maybe for option 3. I would be using the outfit, and
might not be able to keep up with the road bikes, but no matter.
For me it is all dependent on health issues, but I think it should be
OK.

Hope all goes well for you, George. If you do decide to come, I'll
ride with you. Sort of. It'll amount to abandoning you in the bends
but letting you cach up on the straights. :-)

It's such a shame to waste sickies when you're sick, though.
