Oh, and happy birthday to the latest addition to the Alker-Jones clan
(though I think she's more like me).

Little Girl Alker-Jones born 0520 24/12/07 3.75kg after a 5 hour labour
upholding my non-interventionist policy (ie - no time for any drugs. What a
gyp!)

Name yet to be decided, older sister Victoria B thrilled, daddy Hamish weary
but very pleased to be the only boy in an otherwise girl family. Apply
within for photos

Kathy
OnMoto - what the hell is an Orange Crush motorbike? Sounds more like a
drink to me.

I've always thought Clementina Triumphus would be a good name for a girl.

And I saved them money on food, drugs etc. They should have paid me! The
champagne today was worth coming home early though.

All are well, though the father's a bit weary and is having a lie down.

Hey Speedy (5 hours, bloody hell!) !!! We've heard about baby, sister and
daddy - but how about YOU? (Evidently you must be reasonably ok coz you're
online blah blah) - congratulations on the latest addition.

You're home already? Geez, I always reckon Second or Subsequent babies
should give you the right to a week of being pampered in a 5 star hotel
(Christmas champagne included), getting some well-earned rest and not having
to be at home looking after the hordes!

Hope you get some good sleep!

betty

As does my father (27/12). He did try to start up a charity event a number
of years back, I think called Christmas Babies, where people that have their
birthdays within a certain period around Christmas would get together for a
birthday BBQ in the middle of the year, and any monies raised from the event
were to be donated to something like the Royal Children's Hospital.

Dunno what happened with that idea though.

Cheers,
Dale.

I like it! :-)

How about the Sunday nearest the Winter Solstice, at Wiesman's Ferry?

regards,
