I've learned to spell Nacogdoches. Next I'm gonna try the Louisiana
one -Nacatiteous or whatever.

Me, and the RedShad w/shaditilites seen Ole Jerry as we wuz checking out
Nacogdoches today. Man is he looking good since he lost his license. I guess
that LL causes him to change some of his ways and he is reacting favorably.
He, there at one time, revved up that Valk as high as you could see.

When we left outa Cowtown earlier today it was about 62 with channel 5
promising some real warm temps to go with the sun; we dressed accordingly.
About 1 1/2 counties deep into the run temp dropped to a cold seeming 56°.
That made it feel like zero when driving 56, and below zero if going more
than 56mph. That's that Texas Wind-chill Factor. And that sun was no more.
We ran into those ground clouds (sometimes called grade clouds) and the
twisties were wet. In that part of Texas where you have a paved road, which
we were upon, the intersecting roads are dirt. Account the dampness the dirt
had been tracked out on the paved road by the logging trucks and there was
about 1/8" of mud covering our raceway. We rode a long ways, and wish each
and everyone of you could have been along.

Summarization - Jerry was likable. RedShad spread his golden parachute and
bought lunch at a prominent chain restaurant.

We rode em today. Top speed on my GPS was only 103. We had my brother
with us on that worn out V-Star so I had to keep him in my sight. With
120 pounds of dirt, rust and mud caked all over his bike it slowed him
down. It was a chilly ride after we passed Maybank for sure. It was
nice on the way home. Had to only wear one jacket but was able to shed
the gloves. Jerry was lookin good. His pony tail was hangin out of his
helmet a pretty good piece this time. That hair club for men must be
working out for him. Pender WAS going to go but he used Big Eds excuse
not to go..something about work. He has admitted more than once of
being a lier so I dont know if I believe him or not. We were really
counting on him to show up today since we made reservations at the
most expensive resturant in Nac and it was his turn to buy. All in all
it was a good ride. Rode some curvy roads...ate some good food and
hung out with some pretty good company. I took my sons woman with us
and she did super ....no complaints. She slept alot on the way home. I
tried to sleep but I kept drifting over on those chicken strips..I
will get a front end alighment tommorow.

You boys missed a good one...BJAY

==according to a glance at my RandMacMap, you guys rode 300+ round
trip......pretty good for yawl. If I'd joined in it would have been
375..see....unhuh.
Know what I'm sayin.see, that is alot for an old rider, like me, in one
day, and apparaently for those other two members of the Dal/Fw Riding
Club.
I gess yawl took 175 (maybe 45, for a ways) down to Nac,Tx.
Maybe, after old Jerry recoops, he'll talk about his version of the
meeting.
Oh, yeah, just thought....I believe those CoolAid drinks (any
flavor)...enhances pony tail growths..... (I wouldnt know)

Moving is real simple...You spend a couple days and get everything
packed into boxes. You dont do anything else those days other than eat
and pack pack pack. Then you go down to the U-Haul place and rent the
biggest U-haul you can get and load it ALL at one time. If needed, you
rent two U-Hauls and two trailers. Then you go unload into the new
place and return the U-Hauls to the rental place. Then you spend the
next five years unpacking....Simple

I checked the weather before I left, and it was a little cold, but was
supposed to warm up. Same weather report for Naca dishess. I dressed warm in
layers so I could peel down later and took off. It did not stop heavy rain
like mist until I got on the other side of Lufkin and the sun finally came
out around 2:30. I got to Nacca ditches before the boys so I laid down in
the grass and fell asleep. Louie woke me up by calling my phone since they
found my ride, but could not locate me. Met some of the Shads family and
drop dead pretty friends and they were nice as he is. Louie and me went and
hid until Redshad paid for lunch. Louie only had on a lite jacket and a tee
shirt. First time I have ever heard him complain it was cold. We tried to
get the poser Pender, Workaholic Ed, and that no show Bjay to go, but it was
too much trouble for them to join in the fun. I finally made it home and was
really glad to do so. I had a lot of fun visiting.
