anyone being offered any items on EBay or similar by a "nathan" from the
Gold Coast be advised he's ripped three off us off. not for great
amounts of $ but he may get ambitous. He asks for EFT transactions
rather then paypal. was using the name natesplace12 on EBay. Anchovy.

get the item. police not interested due to low $ value.

Sounds more like an account hijack. Surely you can trace him through
the banking system?

LOL. If you willingly and intentionally deposit your money into another
person's bank account and the bank does what you request, good luck
getting them to help you to get it back. That the recipient of the
funds has failed to send you anything in return does not constitute any
fraud or criminal act from the PoV of the bank.

The bank will wake up once there is a police report. Being an accessory
to fraud is not something the bank is going to want to be involved in.
