<VBG>. I was pretty fit in those days thankfully.
However, i'd completely mis-read the route and got myself into trouble
very quickly.
Had other fun days out in Wales too, where a rock face turned into
'rocks embedded in mud' so once i'd pulled a few holds out about 20
metres up and showered my belayer with rocks, we decided it wasn't the
best route after all and I abseiled off.
Wasn't as blanching as that bare rock face though, I was quite
terrified.
