Its insurance renewal time again, and I've just phoned Norwich Union Direct
for a quote. I've got a speeding fine picked up in the car, but the lady
was quite insistent that I did not have to declare it for the motorbike
insurance!

Has anyone else come across this? I asked three times in different ways and
got the same answer. It seems remarkably fair, but unusual!!!

Indeed, why would it matter what type of vehicle you got done for
speeding in/on ?

It's you that has been prosecuted not the vehicle. That's weird.

Or she is incompetant.

Sounds like *******s. I work on motor insurance software for brokers,
and that simply asks for endorsements, not what the endorsement was
picked up on or in.

Thanks Mike - I can't believe it myself. I'm going to read the documents
very carefully when they arrive. I wonder whether there are different rules
in India (where I believe NU outsource their call centres).
