Blade I'm looking at, 2nd owner bought it 24th April this year, never rode
it
Its £ 8k, claims his Mrs is not happy with him having a bike so its up for
sale.
apart from that, everything checks out. HPI clear albeit V5 not up to date
on their database.
(new owner date 11th May) I'm guessing that will catch up shortly unless its
a direct link to DVLA
in which case theres an issue here.
But who buys a bike and sells it straight away?
(they're not called Nige,, I checked)

check for a problem with the final drive - tight chain, output shaft
bearing kaput. Usually something like that when a bike gets moved on
quickly.

..............or a logbook loan - usually doesn't show up on a HPI check.

For £8k I'd guess it's new enough to still be covered by the
manufacturers warranty so why worry?

I'd go there and give him £500 less than agreed and tell him to **** off
if he argued. He's obviously pussy whipped and would run away crying in
an instant.
