Hi all,
Well I got back - 7 days from Sydney to Perth which I thought quite fast.
The one thing that went wrong was me carelessly letting the Guzzi fall
over while getting it off the centre stand in a Nature reserve.
Luckily for me I phoned the Cobdogla Caravan Park nearby, and the
proprietor, Harold, came out and rescued me and helped fix the little bits
of damage. It turned out that he has had lots of bikes and is very
pro-bike.

If you want to know why you might want to go to Cobdogla, look up this
amazing engine with a piston made of water: It is running next October 5.
It only gets run 4 days each year. The Museum opens 1 day each month.

Genuinely insane. Now all we need is to couple one to a
hydraulic motor, and we can make a pistonless motorcycle!

When it is running you can feel the earth move when the column of water is
dumped. Most impressive.
