If there's a newspaper article out there with a more unlikely headline than
this, we're in for a very strange Thursday.

"Porn production line found in Ukraine rocket factory"

Well, it's just the 21st century version of that plaque the sent off
with Voyager, the one with the nekkid people on it.

Seeing as porn is the biggest industry on the planet, someone's clearly
decided it's probably the one point we'll have in common with other
species in the universe.

Yeah. And the RIgellians have no sight or hearing, jsut a "sense of
perception" which does the same job. Samms is in telepathic contact
with his driver and sees an ad through his *own* sense of perception not
the driver's and realises that like humans the Rigellians ahd learned to
ignore advertising.

THe first point of real understanding between the two cultures.

Remember the song back about 1975?

"Skyrockets in flight,
Afternoon delight."

Me too. Shame bottle rockets were made illegal. It always reminded me of
the Queens B'day long weekend in Vic.

Hammo, I was referring to the second line as my memory.

Back when the song was playing we'd just married, and my wife and I drove to
and from work together. Margaret Throsby on the ABC arvo drivetime would play
this regularly. I think she did it for people like us. I kept thinking of
those real-estate signs along busy roads, "If you lived here you'd be home by
now".:-)

What am I thinking? I am home.

Bye all.
Kim
