Was out with a bunch of mates yesterday for our monthly run. For a
variety of circumstances that I won't bother going into, stopped for
coffee at a pub/restaurant near Ironbridge. We were treated by our host
to tea/coffee and freshly baked scones, which was nice not, to mention
generous.
In between overseeing his wife and drinking port he is also in the
middle of a restoration, photos below.

The bike is the P-D 84 winner, ridden by Gaston Rahier prepared by HPN.
He bought it of Ebay and is rebuilding it bit by bit. No parts are
available as there were only three bikes produced this being bike
101(the other 102 & 3), but he discovered that it was easy to figure
authentic original frame from later additions/bodges as the frame and
fitting were originally brazed as opposed to later welding.

He had just collected the bike again as it had been away to have the
headlamp surround and rear guard fabricated using the few available
photos.

That 39 litre tank will be nice and cheap to fill! The 9 litre tank
under the seat is, IIRC, destined to house the battery as he feels he
prolly has enough capacity in the main tank(s)

I may even mention I know someone that organises expeditions that are
ideal for his steed when finished. Probably.

You have to love any bike with the name of a wank mag on the tank.

You must have lived a very sheltered life if you consider Penthouse to
be a wank mag.

What else is it?

Would anyone buy it for anything apart from wanking over?

No idea, but I'd rather ask the question in reverse: Why would anyone
wanting a mag to wank over buy Penthouse?

Oh, hang on, can you still not get proper porn in the UK?

Because they didn't want to appear too big a perv to the girl selling
the magazine?

> Oh, hang on, can you still not get proper porn in the UK?

Don't have a clue. My question is why would anyone want to.
