Replacement suspension for Goldwing trike

My wife has a 1994 GL1500 SE with an older Lehmans trike conversion.
The original progressive air shocks bottom out with my 200 lbs of
passenger weight and I would like to find a replacement system that
will give me a few more inches of travel. Has anyone adapted an air
ride system or know of a better shock
