I run all my bike, sidecar and car tyres on a 78% nitrogen premix.

That's because nitrogen is easier to obtain than (reall) dry air and it
avoids any risk of forming ice crystals in the aircraft tyres.

If you ride above 30,000ft, or @ -20C, this may be of some benefit for your
road bike...

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "platypus"

I think you will find it is so they can' support a fire.

The nitrogen has to be dry as well so the moisture can't freeze out of
it.
