Here's a solution to the Hayden problem. Swap Hayden and Toseland. It
keeps the American, Brit and two ex SB riders in the paddock. Hayden
gets a ride he could do something with, Toseland gets one last chance
for a factory that has already brought him one championship. (except
they fired him...)

So definitely nothing to do with the new engine parts then?
Note that Stoner was crocked with man-flu. And the Ducati could only
just live with the Yamahas on the straight.
And Lorenzo learnt a valuable lesson that he won't ever forget; Don't
leave the door open for Rossi on the last corner. It's a lesson
Gibernau, Melandri, Biaggi and many others won't ever forget either.
