Another badly listed 400/4 goes for a song.
Looks a lot nicer than my existing one.

A song? £900 for a badly resprayed bike with a nasty seat, horrible
pattern front guard, revolting headlight mounts and an old Motad?

This is a wind up right!

£900 for that, 11 owners, only ridden once since last year, non
standard colour, non standard mud guards and headlamp brackets made in
a year 7 metal work class. The combination of all of these sets the
warning bells ringing.

Break it!

I looked at it and thought it'd take more than a bit of clever wording
when listing it to make it a decent bike.

It doesn't say much for the one owned by crn if this one's a lot nicer
than his.

I was thinking of a suitable reply along the same lines when I read
yours. There's one born every minute,

My existing one is crap but it does have a good OE front guard and seat.
The Motad and the rest of the brightwork looks to be in decent nick
and a couple of side panel decals are cheap enough.

Obviously the devil is in the detail so we shall see when I pick it up.
At worst I should get my money back with a bit of work, a tax disk,
and a new MOT.

Why do people advertise so many bikes on Ebay in that (1) format ?

1. <Year,Manufacturer,Colour>

When the seller is stupid enough to let ebay fill in the title.
