Ah. He'd be over 60, and was a craftsman rather than a flogger. I knew
him after his main riding exploits were over. He taught me how to weld
with oxy-acetylene, but I couldn't ever dream of reaching his standard
of proficiency.

Would *YOU* even think of taking a B34 (Gold Star) crankcase half which
had had a rod through it, leaving it in three pieces, broken from
circumference to mains?

After welding, he mic'd it up, and it was still within maker's tolerances...

You've _really_ got to get a bigger screen than that EeePC, Rusty.
You _are_ seventy, after all...

Perhaps the gentleman needs a Brazil-style Fresnel lens over the top.

Eh? I really must get a bigger screen than this Eee - I'm seventy, you know.

And I have to get some pics and fill in a licence application, and get
the OK from my doc.

Don't anyone tell her I can't read the small print innit...

Got one of they somewhere, and IIRC, it's about the same size...

(I can increase the size of script on incoming emus, but not on compose.)

Not difficult when manufacturer's tolerances are +/- 1/2", as with all
things BSA :-)
