I've never bought into that win/win thing. How could that happen?

The last few days around cowtown has been win/wind and I didn't like it.

Today was a no wind day, and I liked that. Go figure

Next few days will be a wind/rain day, the double bubble.

Blame Joe and I. I'm trying to get stuff moved and Joe has an open
ditch and still working on that rock-in-the-hole. I think the rock
has the jackhammer stumped. Joe has pounded down a foot through the
rock and still no end in sight. We may end up with a swimming hole...
or a bomb shelter :-(

Maybe the Sheriff could send out a chain gang. We'll furnish the
hammers.

Well you were wanting another stock tank, so there you go. It should quickly
fill up according to my doppler.

I didn't want a stock tank near the house. :-(

Oh yeah, radar... as of yesterday and last night, all that green must
have been Verga, because nothing has hit the ground yet, at either
location out here. Looking at Intellicast, it appears to be moving
"around" us but probably saving it all for a big flood. After days of
heat, it's colder than a well digger's ass and windier than Joe after
a dinner of alubias y col (I know from personal experience). ;^)

Does Texas still have chain gangs? I know Georgia had them when I was
there, back in the early 80s. I'd see them working on the side of the
roads and they also rode the garbage trucks and picked up trash in
town. The give-away was the striped shirts and the LEO riding
shotgun, literally. The ones on the side of the road worked in
"twos", probably because of the "ankle bracelets".

Hmm, <scratches chin> we have a prison just outside of Breckenridge.
hehe Just a thought.

There ya go, they were "leanin'". It's usually one guy working and
the others watching. I wish I could get paid for watching.

I think that was back in the *old* days. You know, anything before
1970. ;^) Thing is, I know railroad workers and they expect/get big
wages.
Nah, Joe will have to suffer through it, just as soon as it quits
raining and the hole dries up, or he pumps it out, which ever. Maybe
that jackhammer will put some muscle back on him.
