Spies or Haga?

Damn, waiting for this is hard.

I'm kind of hoping that the first race is Spies, Haga, the rest so that
the championship depends on whoever wins the last race of the year. But
Haga losing the championship on equal points on count back and Spies
winning would be both sad and joyous. It's hard to accept Haga going
down in history as being the guy who never won anything but got closer
to the crown than anyone else.

if Haga can not win it now, with a point advantage and track
familiarity, then it really means that Spies deserves it so much more.
I have no invested sentiment either way. And Spies is moving on next
year, giving Haga yet another year in which to accomplish that goal.
It has been a very memorable showdown. Spies' entrance into the series
accomplished that. Hm. Maybe I am rooting for Ben. :-)

Despite being an avid Haga fan, I would have to agree with that statement.

what prevents the other vendors from creating lower volume
homologation specials? Honda has certainly done that before. but
perhaps people with $50k to shell out prefer the Ducati brand on it. i
have no idea - and that would be market economy, just like Ferrari can
afford to race (and win) in F1 despite being a low volume vendor.

After Q, it looks pretty good for Spies.
I hope it's exciting. That is a great looking track.
