Got to admit I was a bit sceptical at first, but now they're on I'm very
impressed.

The 5 Givis give a total capacity of 212 litres, and carrying the weight
lower down is certainly preferable to having a heavy tank bag.

Width wise it's the same as the rear , so no problems there, and it's
just like riding behind a largeish fairing; not much different to the
SOBoxer RT jobbie.

Italy here I come!

**** Italy. You could do Timbuktu to Vladivostok with less gear.

They look really badly photoshopped.

I used to do similar on my Tig for 2-up 2 week trips, only with soft
panniers strapped to the crashbars. It does work very well indeed.

The best bit will be when he tries to remember what's in each box and
ends up having to empty 212 litres of junk out when it's ****ing with
rain.

I've just been packing my panniers for this weekend and it's amazing how
much space you've got when you aren't having to cope with sub zero
temperatures.

I wouldn't have thought Horse uses makeup.

<hides pics from my daughter>

Do you realise the crap she'd pack if I had a similar setup on my K12

I used to have small cube shaped soft bags that fitted under the tank bag
and they worked well
